URGENTE - INMINENTE EJECUCIÓN EN MASA DE PRISIONEROS SUNNIES

36 prisioneros sunnís a la espera de su ejecución han sido transferidos a régimen de aislamiento en la prisión de Rajai Shahr y es probable que sean ejecutados en los próximos días.

Las autoridades penitenciarias se han puesto en contacto telefónico con las familias de los 21 prisioneros, convocándoles en la prisión para una reunión final con los hombres.

Fuentes en Irán dicen que las ejecuciones son inminentes, informes no confirmados afirman que algunas ejecuciones pueden haberse llevado a cabo esta mañana.

 URGENT - MASS EXECUTION OF SUNNI PRISONERS IMMINENT

36 Sunni prisoners awaiting execution in Rajai Shahr prison have been transferred to solitary confinement, and are likely to face execution in the coming days.

Prison authorities contacted the families of 21 of the prisoners, and called them to the prison for a final meeting with the men.

Sources in Iran have said that executions are imminent, with unconfirmed reports that some executions may have already been carried out this morning.

– The men were tortured during detention. They were also threatened with the arrest of family members and forced to sign papers without being allowed to read them.

– In light of the serious allegations of torture and the irregularities surrounding the cases of these four men, we demand an immediate halt to their execution.
