Assalaamu Alaikum (Greetings of Peace):

I begin with another special note of thanks to all of the wonderful supporters who came out three months ago in Boston (MA), New York (NY), Washington (DC), and Fort Worth (TX), to help insure the success of The March 2016 Mobilizations for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

Given the fact that US District Court Judge Richard Berman has officially closed Aafia's case in the courts (she has no more access to the so-called appeals process), the struggle continues in the court of public opinion; this time with a letter writing campaign in the second half of this blessed month of Ramadan 1437 A.H.

Please write a letter today, and address the letter to Mr. Robert A. Zauzmer at the address provided below. You can also use the suggested format provided below; and please cc: President Obama at the end.

Las autoridades iraníes cerraron una mezquita sunní en la provincia de Jorasán del Sur

Las autoridades iraníes cerraron la mezquita Shahrak Masjid en la ciudad de Asadiya en Jorasán del Sur el miércoles 15 de de junio de 2016.

Tras el cierre de la mezquita, la gente protestó teniendo que rezar las oraciones del Maghrib y el Ishaa en la calle.

A pesar del hecho de que la mayoría de la población de la ciudad de Asadiya son sunnies, las autoridades no les conceden permisos para construir mezquitas sunnís.

Un testigo ocular informó a  Hrana que "La mezquita fue cerrada porque se construyó sin permiso oficial".

La gente sunní de Irán por lo general se enfrentan a este tipo de opresión por el alquiler de salas y habitaciones "Namaz Khana" para llevar a cabo su oración en congregación, sin embargo, estas salas de oración son cerradas en cuando las autoridades tienen conocimiento de ellas.

Iranian authorities shut down a Sunni Masjid in South Khorasan Province

Iranian authorities shut down Shahrak Masjid in the city of Asadiya in South Khorasan Province on Wednesday, June 15th 2016.

After the Masjid was shut down, people protested and they had to pray Maghrib and Ishaa prayers on the street.

Despite the fact that the majority of population in the city of Asadiya are Sunnis, the authorities don't grant them permissions to build Sunni mosques.

An eye witness reported to HRANA "The masjid was shut down because it was built without an official permission".

The Sunni people of Iran usually face this type of oppression by renting halls and rooms "Namaz Khana" to perform their prayer in congregation, yet these prayer rooms are shut down when the authorities get informed about them.

السلطات الإيرانية تغلق مسجداً للسنة في محافظة خراسان الجنوبية

أغلقت السلطات الإيرانية مسجد "شهرك" الخاص بأهل السنة في مدينة أسدية بمحافظة خراسان الجنوبية يوم الأربعاء 15 يونيه 2016، كما أوقفت اصدار التصاريح الرسمية لبناء المساجد في المنطقة.

وردا على إغلاق المسجد، أقام المصلون صلاتي المغرب والعشاء جماعة في الشارع.
ورغم أن أغلب أهالي مدنية أسدية من السنة، إلا أن طلبات السماح ببناء مساجد في المدنية تقابل بالرفض من السلطات الرسمية.

ونقل موقع نشطاء من أجل حقوق الإنسان في إيران عن أحد سكان مدينة أسدية أن المسجد أغلق بحكم قضائي صادر عن محكمة إيرانية، بحجة عدم وجود تصريح رسمي لبناء المسجد.

ويلجأ أهل السنة في إيران إلى تخصيص بيوت وشقق لإقامة الصلاة إذا أغلقت لهم السلطات مسجداً، إلا أن هذه البيوت تغلق أيضاً عندما تعلم السلطات بأمرها.

Siete presos sunnies han sido condenados a muerte trascurridos 7 años desde su detención.

Siete presos sunnis fueron condenados a muerte en la Sección 28 del Tribunal Revolucionario de Teherán por el juez Muhammed Mogheseh, se les informó de la sentencia el pasado miércoles, 25 de mayo de 2016.

Los siete presos: Davoud Abdullahi, Kamran Sheikha, Farhad Salimi, Anwar Khadri, Khysro Besharat, Qasim Abesteh y Ayoub Karimi, fueron detenidos el 7 de diciembre de 2009, pasando todos esos años tras las rejas sin cargo alguno ni juicio.

Fueron citados en la corte en marzo, pero no se les permitió nombrar a un abogado para defenderlos, finalmente, se les informó de la sentencia la semana pasada.

Fueron acusados de "propaganda contra el régimen y su difusión", "la pertenencia a grupos salafistas", de enemigos de Dios "y" propagar la corrupción en la tierra ".

Los presos se han declarado inocentes de todos los falsos cargos, diciendo que la verdadera razón por la que fueron detenidos es por defender su fe y creencias (sunnies). Han solicitado que su caso sea revisado por el Tribunal Supremo.

Cumplen condena actualmente en la prisión de Rajai Shahr en Karaj.

Seven Sunni prisoners sentenced to death after 7 years of detention

Seven Sunni prisoners were sentenced to death in branch 28 of the revolutionary court in Tehran by judge Muhammed Mogheseh, and they were informed of their sentences last Wednesday, May 25th, 2016.

The seven prisoners: Davoud Abdullahi, Kamran sheikha, Farhad salimi, Anwar khadri, Khysro besharat, Qasim Abesteh and Ayoub Karimi, were arrested on the 7th of December 2009 and spent all those years behind bars without charge or trial.

They were summoned to court in March, but they were not allowed to appoint a lawyer to defend them, and finally they were informed of their sentence last week.

They were accused of "spreading propaganda against the regime" , "membership in Salafi groups" , Enmity against God" and "Spreading corruption on earth".

The prisoners have declared themselves innocent from all those fabricated charges and said that the real reason they were arrested for is defending their faith and (Sunni) beliefs. and they have requested that their case to be reviewed by the Supreme court.

They are currently held in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.

Sieben sunnitische Gefangene wurden vom Abteil 28 des Revolutionsgericht in Tehran vom Richter Muhammad Moghiseh zum Tode verurteilt und sie wurden letzten Mittwoch, am 25. Mai 2016 über ihr Todesurteil benachrichtigt!

Die sieben Gefangenen: Dawud Abdullahi, Kamran Sheikha, Farhad Salimi, Anwar Khadri, Khosro Besharat, Qasim Abesteh und Ayoub Karimi wurden am 7. Dezember 2009 festgenommen und haben all die Jahre (7 Jahre) ohne Anklage und ohne ein Gerichtsprozess im Gefängnis verbracht.

Sie wurden im März (2016) zum Gericht gerufen, doch ihnen wurde es nicht erlaubt einen Anwalt festzulegen, um sie zu verteidigen und schließlich wurden sie nun letzte Woche über ihr Urteil informiert.

Sie wurden beschuldigt "Propaganda gegen das Regime zu verbreiten", "Mitgliedschaft einer Salafi Gruppe", "Feindschaft gegen Allah (Moharabeh)" und "Unheil auf der Erde zu stiften".

Die Gefangenen sprachen sich von diesen erfundenen Anschuldigungen frei und sagten, dass der wahre Grund ihrer Festnahme dieser sei, dass sie ihren (sunnitischen) Glauben und den Islam verteidigen und dass sie darum baten, dass ihre Fälle von dem obersten Gericht überprüft wird.

Sie warten nun momentan im Rajai Shahr Gefängnis auf ihre Hinrichtungen.

الحكم على سبعة شباب من أهل السنة بالإعدام

أصدر القاضي سئ السمعة محمد مقيسه، قاضي الشعبة الثامنة والعشرين من محكمة طهران الثورية أحكاماً بالإعدام على سبعة من الشباب السنة المعتقلين منذ سبع سنوات، وقد تم إبلاغهم بالحكم يوم الأربعاء 25 مايو 2016.

المعتقلون هم: داود عبداللهی، کامران شیخه، فرهاد سلیمی، انور خضری، خسرو بشارت، قاسم آبسته و ایوب کریمی. وقد تم اعتقالهم في 7 ديسمبر 2009 وظلوا في سجون النظام الإيراني سبع سنوات بلا تهمة ولا محاكمة حتى تم استدعائهم للمحكمة في شهر المارس الماضي، ولم يسمح لهم بتوكيل محامي للدفاع عنهم، وتم إبلاغهم بالحكم يوم الأربعاء الماضي.

والتهم التي تم الحكم عليهم من أجلها هي: "نشر الدعاية الكاذبة ضد النظام" و "العضوية في جماعات سلفية" و "محاربة الله" و "الإفساد في الأرض"، وينفي الشباب عن أنفسهم هذه التهم و يؤكدون أن السبب في اعتقالهم هو دفاعهم عن دينهم وعقيدتهم. وقد قدموا طلباً للمحكمة العليا للطعن على قرار الإعدام، والمحكمة العليا تدرس الطلب حالياً.

لا تنسوهم من الدعاء.
