Four innocent Sunni prisoners are in danger of imminent execution in Iran.
Their execution has been delayed before (in 2013), possibly due to international attention to their case. It is therefore very important that we continue to raise awareness and increase the pressure on the Iranian authorities.
We must take the following urgent steps:
1. Raise awareness on Twitter:
- Use the hashtag #StopExecutingSunnisIran to show your support.
- Tweet pictures and articles about the case from our website, for example: http://sunniprisonersiran.com/urgent-action-four-sunni-prisoners-face-imminent-execution-in-iran/
- Send tweets to the Iranian authorities, including Ayatollah Khamenei ( @khamenei_ir ) and President Rouhani ( @HassanRouhani )
2. Raise awareness on Facebook:
- Like, share, and tag your friends in our posts about the prisoners in danger of execution
- Write a short post about the prisoners
- Leave a polite message on the official Facebook pages of the Iranian authorities, including President Rouhani (https://www.facebook.com/HRouhaniOfficial) and Ayatollah Khamenei (https://www.facebook.com/www.Khamenei.ir)
